Rest Assure

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not  return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:10-11)

Has God promised you something? Whether the Lord has promised you through your dreams, a prophet, or by inclinations, He will keep His promise. Moreover, there are multitudes of promises the Lord has made to us through His written word.

In Deuteronomy chapter 28, we find some of the greatest promises for all those who make up their mind to love and obey God: 1. The Lord will set you above all your enemies. 2. The blessings of the Lord shall come upon you and overtake you. 3. You shall be blessed whether you are in the city or in the country. 4. Everything you set your hands to do will prosper. 5. You will be above and not beneath, and the blessings go on.

The Bible says that God is not a man that He should lie. What His mouth has declared, His hands will bring to pass.

In Psalm 91: 14-16, God said that "Because he (you) has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

The Lord is the way, the truth, and the life; therefore, being the truth, there is no way God can lie. So if He promised to bless you, to heal youl, to restore you, to protect you, to save you, He will. You only have to trust Him, believe Him, and rest on His promises. For His promises are yes and amen.

The Lord promised Abraham that He would be father of multitudes of nations. Abraham didn't have a child at that time; furthermore, he was very old in age, so was his wife. Yet, after many years passed, the promise of God became a reality. It took 25 years for that promise to manifest.

Similarly, if the Lord has promised you anything, it does not matter how long it has been, how impossible it might seem, rest assure that it shall happen.

That is why the Lord say to us today, "So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

Whatever, He said to you, His word will not be ineffective; it will not return to Him without fulfillment.

May the peace (Shalom) of the Lord Most High God be upon you, in you, and surround you today and all the days of your life.

Amen.
